Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th May they return as protagonists to squares all over Italy and also in province of Ravenna “Herbs“OF AISMinitiative fundraiser organized by the association.
Volunteers will be present at solidarity points, handing out set containing the selection two aromatic herbs in exchange for one a donation of 12 euros. The revenues of Aromatic Herbs AISM will contribute concretely to the implementation auxiliary services for people with multiple sclerosis and related conditions, as well as support scientific research.

What is multiple sclerosis
Chronic, unpredictable and disabling multiple sclerosis is one of the most serious diseases of the central nervous system. 50% of people with MS are young and under 40. It affects women twice as often as men. In Italy there are 140 thousand people with multiple sclerosis, 3,600 new cases every year: 1 every 3 hours. The cause and definitive cure have not yet been found, but thanks to advances in scientific research, there are therapies and treatments capable of slowing the progression of multiple sclerosis and improving the quality of life for people with MS.
MS-related conditions include neuromyelitis optica (NMO), which has a framework of health and social care needs and interventions similar to MS.

The campaign also supports the solidarity number AISM 45512 to support scientific research. With them many AISM friends who will promote the event through their social channels. Inside the AISM Aromatic Herbs kits offered by volunteers in the main Italian squares, there will be an information postcard with a QR code, with which, thanks to a few friends, you will discover valuable advice and tasty ideas on how to use aromatic herbs not only in the kitchen.
