Sunday, May 5 from 3:30 p.m students from Giuseppe Verdi State Conservatory from Ravenna will perform a series of songs inspired by the continents photographed by Sebastião Salgado. The program includes concerts “Exodus: Echoes from the World”five Sundays in which music offers visitors new stimuli inspired by different parts of the world.
The program for the first meeting includes JB, Singleeé, Premiere Quatour; A. Piazzolla, Libertango; N. Rota, Farewell pier performed by the Saxsophone Quartet composed of Francesco Albertazzi, Federica Paoli, Riccardo Tramonti, Nicolò Zinzani.
For children and their families Saturday, May 4 at 4 p.m special meeting Movement, rhythm and tempo. The journey is divided into a short guided tour of the permanent collection of contemporary MAR mosaics and a subsequent creative graphic workshop, where participants create their own collage from the ideas received at the exhibition. Each child builds his own journey of feelings by testing his imagination and abstraction. The activity is recommended for children aged 5 to 11 years.

The exhibition gathers numerous cartoons for the mosaic created by Renato Signorini and his workshop, which are part of the archive that the heirs wanted to donate to the State Academy of Fine Arts in Ravenna, of which Renato Signorini was first a student, then a teacher. , eventually headmaster of the Mosaic School from 1934 to 1976.
