The first stages of the CSI Provincial Youth Championship, Committee Faenza, Lugo, Ravenna are over and Volleyball Cervia 1969 brings four teams to the Play Off.
The Under 18 Blue, first placed in their championship, prepare to face Modi volley in the quarter-finals.
The Under 16 Blue team, winners of their group, have already overcome PSG 88 Granarolo in the quarter-finals and must face Pallavolo Faenza in the semi-finals.
The Under 14 Verde team, third in their group, got past Volley Castel Bolognese in the quarter-finals and will face VBR Blu Lugo in the semi-finals.
After finishing third in the championship, the U12 Azzurra will face Pallavolo Mordano in the quarter-finals and advance to the semi-finals.
There are concrete possibilities to bring all these teams to Massa Lombardo, the venue for the final at 1/2. place and 3rd/4th place for U18, U14 and U12 on May 18.
The Under 16 Blues are certainly aiming for the finals which will instead be played with home/return games on dates to be determined.
These results are part of the very positive balance of the volleyball season, in which the number of athlete members (of which there are over 100 active) has increased and the collaboration with the various personalities necessary to carry out the activity (12 among technicians, team manager, referee and scorer).
In the Mini volley promotional activity, Pallavolo Cervia has permanently over 35 girls aged between 6 and 11, followed by 4 female instructors.
Regarding the competitive activity that Palla volo Cervia carries out with the CSI Ravenna committee, there are almost 70 active girls participating in 5 provincial championships (under 12/under 14/under 16 (with 2 teams)/under 18). Each group is supported in training and matches by 2 coaches and 1 team manager.
Founded in 1969, Pallavolo Cervia aims to expand the practice of sports in general and volleyball in particular. The expansion of sports practice is considered a fundamental factor in the effort to achieve an overall improvement in the quality of life, and therefore it is not limited to the participation of teams in “competitive” championships, but tries to offer girls and youth the possibility of playing the sport of volleyball.
