Treviso’s work is inspired by values cultivated over time: the choice of materials, attention to detail, measurement of shapes and proportions and respect for the environment contribute to the creation of authentic places from timeless objects, because Durability is the key to sustainability, a key element of Pianco’s production. Italian beauty and creativity, originality and creativity are the trademarks of a brand that today boasts collaborations with important names in the world of design, including Luciano Marson, Pier Luigi Frighetto, Calvi Brambillo, Cristina Celestino, curator of the Pianca space in Salone. del Mobile 2024, Federica Biasi, Raffaella Mangiarotti to name a few. The novelties designed at the 62nd edition of Salone del Mobile, created for Pianco by the designers Calvi Brambilla, Cristina Celestino, Raffaella Mangiarotti and Federica Biasi, were exhibited at Rho Fiera in the exhibition space, curated again this year by Cristina Celestino.

House. Judgment on the world

Venice returns in the design of the Pianca stand, which takes its inspiration from the courtyards of Venetian palaces and selects materials and architecture to place the Pianca collections between past and present, in a play of light and transparency, bringing them together in a large living space. style and symmetrical structure, developed around a large courtyard. A contemporary dimension that marks the imprint of the different identities of the House of Pianca. Transparencies connect different environments and allow us to perceive materiality and colors, geometry and light and dark.

The Pianco installation represented a journey characterized by the intrinsic quality of the objects and the coexistence of space and furniture. The central and bright courtyard is a filter between the image of the outside and the inside, made of the oldest material in the world, glass. The Orizzonte concept, the company’s new project, fits into this refined environment.

Non-transparent | to the bright horizon

Transparent horizon is the name with which Pianca dubs its participation in the Salone del Mobile, which underlines a double transparency: the transparency of the materials used for the stand, which provide a great brightness of the environment, and the transparency of a clear vision in terms. business, social and environmental evolution. At Design Week 2024, Pianca debuts the CONCEPT of Orizzonte, a new project to bring the brand’s HOME world also to the KITCHEN without, however, feeling like entrepreneurs in this specific sector. A solution designed not as a space in itself, but as a true extension of the Pianca home, in keeping with the understated elegance that distinguishes the brand’s creations. As the name suggests, Orizzonte, Pianca cuisine does
it opens up to the life of the home without borders, becomes its beating heart and at the same time forms a whole with other domestic environments.

Horizon

With Orizzonte Pianca brings his world, his expertise and his idea of beauty to the kitchen, experimenting with materials and stylistic solutions for contemporary design creations with timeless charm, in perfect harmony with other domestic spaces. A unique concept, completely unrelated to classic cuisine. In Orizzonte, sculpture and light in its essence, contrasts are transformed into design harmony, giving life to an eclectic space in which functionality and
aesthetics. Its peculiarity is the shoulder system instead of classic monoblocs, which makes it possible to avoid doubling the sides in favor of a single piece of custom-made furniture.

The sustainable materials in Orizzonte are natural stone and agglomerable, which comes from the earth and is made by reclaiming waste from marble processing, which aesthetically evokes the impression of a Venetian terrace. The kitchen elements are highly customizable in finishes and colors with the same essences, varnishes and laminates used for the brand’s equipment, allowing you to create combinations or new, harmonious contrasts with the rest of the rooms.

The main elements that make up the kitchen are the island and the sideboard. The island is aesthetically characterized as one monolithic block, a parallelogram stone with soft shapes that floats in the air, thanks to the effect of lightness given to the piece of furniture by the frame present in front of the plinth.

The sideboard features paneled sides that rise from the columns, towering over them to become a wooden case for cookbooks or allow a rare item to take center stage. Horizontal LED strips are inserted in the lower and upper parts of the shelves. Stone doors that touch the floor have beveled edges to lighten them visually. The strong point of this furniture is the possibility to open the post via the handle in the upper part of the door, which is 20.0 mm higher than the top of the post.

The Orizzonte kitchen is a work in which every detail is carefully taken care of to create a harmonious and comfortable environment, equipped with intelligent solutions to optimize the organization of the space. A project that is far from mass production, dedicated to those who love design and home as an expression of their personality.
